We now live on a boat

It's finally here!  We left Halifax Harbor on Friday, February 6th.
The 3 year anniversary of the Gypsy Soul splash down in Savannah.  Really big winds, so we took a detour to Inlet Harbor for the evening.
Did some "serious" celebrating with Fran, Peg & Monty.  Spent today on the hook at DI chilling or for some of us "recovering", but I'm not mentioning any names.  Gorgeous day with big sun and blue skies. Tonight there are so many stars in the sky they are loud.

We'll spend a few days hanging, walking the beach, etc.  Then off to Cocoa.

Mark Twain

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do, than by the one you did do.  So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore.  Dream.  Discover.

3rd Annual Trek to St Augustine for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday.  All the fanfare of Christmas, but without the commercialism. Your only obligation is to be with friends and family and give thanks!  We certainly have a lot to be thankful for.

Weather this time a year is always a "crap shoot".  You don't know what you will get until you get it.We had some sunny warm days and some cold rainy days.

Good times, with good friends and good family.

WE ARE BLESSED

Easter Weekend @ Inlet Harbor

Just a short distance away - yet you can feel like you are a million miles away from everyday.
A great long weekend full of relaxation and good times.
Friday was spent hanging on the docks and meeting some old and new friends - times like this when you realize how small this world really is.
Saturday was a bike ride to Ponce Inlet lighthouse, the jetty @ the state park and our version of a booze cruise (stopping at every bar we passed on the way back to the boat).  The weather was absolutely perfect.

Ft. Lauderdale Trawlerfest

Despite the fact that I'm green with envy.  I think that it's pretty awesome that Dennis is taking theGypsy to the Ft. Lauderdale Trawlerfest this week.

Memorial Day 2012

Left Daytona around 9:00, a little later than we wanted to, but with big sun and blue skies - we knew this was going to be an awesome ride. On board for the first time was our daughter Jessica (first time meeting her new lil sister), Lindsay & Perry (a surprise set of stowaways) Dennis & myself. We are headed to St. Augustine to meet up with the Adam's and the Morgan's for a weekend of play in the oldest city. Weather is good, but a bit breezy - but I'm happy cuz I get to spend the weekend with my baby girl (yes I mean you Jess ;-))
